The outcome of this shoot is a collage of pictures taken as a panorama at Scott Lake.

A fantastic display on the edge of the Rocky Mountains, Scott Lake, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
After many aurora's but cloudy skies, this was the first break I had for a while.

This is an experiment with a Sony F707 Digital Camera. It takes good shots, and has a special noise reduction system. Exposures 15-30 seconds, f2.0.

Temperature was about -5C, but the wind chill made it feel a lot worse. Only lasted for about 1 hour. You can see the moon rising in some of the pictures.

You can be alerted for free an hour in advance of an Aurora Borealis occuring at your location with ADEC.
